September is now here and that means it's time for one of the quirkier events in London's calendar – the annual Sheep Drive & Livery Fair at Southwark Bridge. Taking place on 24th September, this year the sheep drive is being led by celebrity guest and acclaimed chef Richard Corrigan.

Hosted by The Worshipful Company of Woolmen, this tradition is a long-standing charity event. The tradition of driving sheep over London Bridge to market dates back to medieval times but today due to access restrictions the event takes place at Southwark Bridge. Whilst access to the sheep drive itself is restricted, anyone is free to join the accompanying Livery Fair, where you can learn more about the sheep drive and its history and visit the market stalls selling wool-based items, arts and crafts, gifts, and food and drink.
