Starting in Soho and expanding around the city, Lina Stores has established itself as a top destination for pasta in London. If you live south of the river you'll be excited to know that the group is finally making its South London debut, almost two years after the idea was first floated.
Lina Stores Clapham will be opening in June, removing the deli element of some of the other locations to focus solely on being a neighbourhood restaurant. Set over two floors, there will be room for 80 diners in a space full of Lina Stores' trademark design elements like marble tables, leather banquettes, and pops of green.
The group is well-known for its fresh pasta, antipasti, and desserts, and that's exactly what you can expect to find on the menu in Clapham. It'll also have a breakfast menu, with options like truffle scrambled eggs on toast, maple-roasted granola with berries and yoghurt, and a slow-roasted porchetta and salsa verde panino. Clapham already has a strong community feel and the goal is for Lina Stores to become another neighbourhood hotspot in the local area.
