Many people would argue that the penguins are some of the cutest inhabitants of London Zoo. If you're one of those people, the zoo has just launched a new experience for animal lovers that's sure to excite you. The Penguin Keeper Experience lets you get up close to the penguins and learn more about their lives, all whilst helping the professionals to take care of them.

Lasting 90 minutes and with a maximum group size of four, the experience will see you helping to clean up after the colony of over 70 birds who live on Penguin Beach, preparing food for the creatures, learning about how the zookeepers check the health of the birds, and finishing off with feeding them. Throughout the experience you'll be able to ask the zookeepers all of your questions about penguins too.

The experience is suitable for those aged eight upwards, but children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The experience is running on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 8th March. If you're an animal lover looking for a great day out, this experience might be just right for you. Find out more and make your booking on London Zoo's website.
