Christmas is a time for giving and buzzy Soho pasta restaurant Pastaio is helping London's diners do exactly that. The modern restaurant has teamed up with Sophie Wyburd and Hannah Crosbie, hosts of the "I'll Have What She's Having" podcast, to create a special seasonal pasta and wine pairing that includes a £1 charity donation.

Available at the restaurant throughout the festive season, Wyburd has devised a special-edition mezze maniche pasta packed full of Christmassy ingredients. The dish comes with sausage, pancetta, chestnuts, and white wine and sage sauce, topped off with a crispy rosemary pangrattato. Just like on the podcast, Crosbie has come up with the perfect wine pairing for the dish, a Fontodi Chianti Classico.

Best of all, for every pairing sold Pastaio will donate £1 to Refuge, the UK's largest domestic abuse organisation. These donations will help fund the vital support the charity provides to women and children who have been affected by domestic abuse, empowering them to overcome the impact of abuse and rebuild their lives for a happier future.

If a pasta party sounds like the ideal way to celebrate Christmas, get down to Pastaio to sample this delicious combo. Festive set menus are also available for bigger groups, providing the ideal tasty solution for office or family get-togethers over the Christmas period.
