There’s a new swanky coffee shop on the block, serving exquisite Yemeni coffee in the heart of central London. You’ll find the new brew spot located opposite the beloved Honey and Spice deli on the buzzy Warren Street.

The coffee shop is a reminder of the complexity of Yemeni coffee and its production process. Qima Cafe was initially established as a coffee specialist in Yemen, but the ongoing civil war has made it more than challenging to continue farming coffee in a war-stripped country, hence their move into Colombian export and this new London venture.

You can enjoy different kinds of coffees here, like a qimr latte, which is based on a Yemeni-style preparation made with cascara, the dried skins of coffee cherries. You can also enjoy coffee brewed on an ibrik, a method widely used with Turkish coffee that originated in Yemen.

You can find Qima Cafe at 21 Warren St, London W1T 5LT
