The popular Fitzrovia wine bar and open kitchen, known for its regularly changing lineup of guest chefs, has prepared a special summer treat – a five-day visit by Marcin Król, one of the younger generation's most hyped chefs.
Despite his youth, Marcin Król's resume reads like a where's where of the world's top culinary establishments. He started at Noma in Copenhagen when he was only 19, and he hasn't slowed down since, with stints at high-profile establishments including Boragó in Santiago, Inua in Tokyo, and Le Chateaubriand and Maison Paris in the French capital.
Król will visit Carousel to demonstrate his hyper-seasonal, market-driven cooking style through a haute cuisine tasting menu featuring courses such as confit rabbit shoulder with gnocchi and summer greens, or charred summer cabbage tatin with smoked eel sauce. He's only in town for five days, from 11 to 15 July, so best head over to the Carousel website and book your slot.
