The Greenwich+Docklands International Festival is an annual summer event, bringing public spaces across the Greenwich Peninsula and the London Docklands to life with an array of outdoor performances and installations. All of the events are free, though you can make a donation to support the festival's activities if you like.

In 2024, GDIF is again bringing a varied programme of outdoor theatre, dance, circus, and installations to the banks of the River Thames – and above them. Highlights of this year's festival include “Thaw,” a colossal aerial production on a 2.5-tonne block of ice suspended over London for eight hours, “Life Lines,” where five parkour performers journey through the Greenwich Peninsula's stunning architecture, and “Wheels & Cello,” combining street roller skate choreography with live music.

GDIF 2024 takes place from 23 August to 8 September. Find out more about the festival and this year's programme here.
