People who were born on 29th February only get to have a birthday once every four years but the London Eye is offering something special to make up for it this year. The attraction is one of the most popular in the city and it's offering free rides on 29th February if you can prove that it's your birthday.

If you're one of the roughly five million people around the world who share this special birthday, head to the London Eye's ticket office on the South Bank on 29th February with proof of your date of birth – passports, driving licenses, and birth certificates are all valid forms of proof. The first 100 birthday people to turn up and prove that they are who they say they are will get a free turn on the wheel. The rest of your party will need to pay for their own tickets but never mind that – it's your birthday so it's all about you.

The offer is valid for one day only and you might have to get there early to ensure you can claim your free ride. It's certainly a unique way to celebrate your birthday, and the memories of cruising through the air in one of the London Eye's pods should keep you going for another four years.
