If you're a Londoner who loves Italian cuisine, there's a food festival happening in May that you'll want to check out for yourself. SicilyFEST 2024 is taking place at the Business Design Centre in Islington between 2nd and 5th May, bringing a whole load of food and culture from the Mediterranean to London. This time the festival is bigger than ever; as well as celebrating Sicily, this year's event is showcasing food and culture from across all of southern Italy.
At this fun and lively event, you'll see row upon row of stalls selling authentic Sicilian food and wine. The varied collection of vendors have a broad range of delicacies on offer to eat on-site or take home. Whether you prefer savoury bits like pasta, sausages, or arancini, or you've got a sweet tooth and would rather munch on a cannoli, cake, or gelato, you're sure to find something to tempt you. Sicilian wines and liqueurs will also be available, plus attendees can expect plenty of mouthwatering free samples.
It's not only the food that you can enjoy at SicilyFEST. Visitors can enjoy live performances from a number of Sicilian DJs and musicians, plus interactive masterclasses with acclaimed chefs from Sicily and southern Italy. Find out more and get your tickets on the Business Design Centre website.
