Tucked away atop the Brunel Museum, The Midnight Apothecary is a secret rooftop garden, cared for by award-winning gardener Lottie Muir, who uses the plants and herbs grown in the garden or foraged in the area to craft seasonal botanical cocktails. Considered one of the best pop-up bars in London, The Midnight Apothecary hosts regular weekend gatherings around a campfire when the weather is right, giving patrons a chance to try the concoctions in a cosy outdoor setting.
Adorned with fairy lights, the rooftop bar features a centralised firepit as well as individual ones in spring, making it quite the spot for a romantic date or just a fun evening with your mates. You can devour freshly toasted s'mores while you sip on signature cocktails such as the Woodland Martini with Douglas fir-infused vodka and smoked sage. While only drinks from the Apothecary are allowed on the premises, you're free to bring your food as well.
In addition, your ticket to The Midnight Apothecary also includes an optional guided descent into the Victorian-era Thames Tunnel Shaft at the Brunel Museum.
Firepit sessions at The Midnight Apothecary take place every Friday and Saturday until 27 July. You can book your ticket here.
