Coal Drops Yard in King's Cross is home to Wine Car Boot, taking place this Saturday, 20 July, between 12-9 pm. Independent wine retailers, importers, and producers set up stalls from their car boots or dedicated spaces so that you can taste and purchase a curated selection of wines, which can be enjoyed on-site or taken home.

Wine Car Boot aims to introduce Londoners to a diverse range of authentic, affordable, and delicious wines while also highlighting the passionate people behind them. Entry to the market is free, and upon arrival, attendees can purchase a tasting pack, which includes a tote bag, a glass, and five tokens for sampling wines.

The market also offers beer, live music, and a selection of food. The stallholders represent a wide spectrum of wine expertise, ranging from esteemed merchants like Lay & Wheeler and Berry Bros. & Rudd to specialists such as Dynamic Vines, Newcomer, and Passione Vino.

The selection is diverse, featuring wines from regions like Greece, Hungary, and Georgia, as well as well-known favourites from France, Italy, and the New World. Wine Car Boot celebrates not only bottled wines but also alternative formats such as Bagnums, boxed wines, wines on tap, and canned wines.
