All hell is about to break loose thanks to the release of one of the most heavily anticipated games of the year, and you can get a tasty preview in London soon.
“Diablo IV”, the fourth instalment of the globally popular “Diablo” action RPG series, is gearing up for release on 6 June. The “Diablo” video games are among the most popular in the history of gaming, so this is a red-letter day for professional and casual gamers around the world. The marketing campaign for the upcoming release has therefore roped in the main antagonist of the fourth instalment, the demon Lilith, though thankfully she won't be up to her usual slaughtering shenanigans.
On 3–4 June, an 18+ chocolate shop will pop up under the name Lilith & Co at 15 Bateman Street in Soho, selling “goremet chocolate” – delicious chocolatey treats shaped like life-sized skulls, runes, and other items familiar to fans of the franchise, with prices starting at £6.66 (cue self-satisfied demonic laughter). Large-scale chocolate versions of characters from the game will also be watching over the proceedings, courtesy of The Edible Museum. Plus, those bold enough to venture into the dungeon, er, basement will be able to see the game in action ahead of its release.
Whether you're a hardcore “Diablo” fan, a chocolate fiend, or somewhere in between, all are welcome to “stay awhile and listen”, as Deckard Cain would say. The gates of Lilith & Co will be open from noon to 6pm on 3–4 June.
