Ana Gonçalves and Zijun Meng, founders of the iconic TĀ TĀ Eatery, are relaunching sister brand TÓU (pronounced toe) on April 5 as a pop-up at The Globe Tavern in Borough Market.

The pop-up will feature a 1970s Japanese Americana-inspired sando bar with a laid-back atmosphere and jazz music. The menu includes their iconic sandos, ice cream sundaes, and a selection of Pet Nat and natural wines.

The TÓU brand has held successful pop-ups across London. Their latest menu features the iconic Ibérico Pork Katsu Sando, which is made with premium ingredients like Ibérico de Bellota pork sourced from Spain. Sides include skin-on fries with house sprinkles, and dessert options include a Coffee & Biscuits Sundae.

The duo, along with Stefano Cazzato, curated a wide selection of Pet Nats to complement the menu. Pet Nats are known for their light, fizzy style, created through minimal intervention. These sparkling wines, available in white, red, or rosé, typically have low alcohol content and will be served alongside the TÓU menu as part of a 40+ natural wine list.

TÓU will officially open its doors on April 5 and will be open for walk-ins only
