There's an evening of poetry taking place in Bethnal Green

Discuss, debate, and share your own words at Extra Second London, a monthly spoken word night with a specific theme each time. The June event takes place on 29th June with the evocative theme of Love & Death.

The event has featured poets sharing their own work on the theme, as well as open mic slots that you can sign up for when you arrive. What sets Extra Second London apart is that the performances are followed by a round table discussion where you can debate and consider the key themes more deeply. The event takes place in the heart of Bethnal Green at St. Margaret's House.
