You know Christmas is right around the corner when Miracle at Henrietta hits the streets of Covent Garden. On November 14th, Henrietta's mezzanine bar is being transformed into a retro 70s Christmas living room; think tacky decorations, fairy lights up to your eyeballs and over-the-top seasonal cocktails.
American-based Miracle is already super famous in the US, but Henrietta is the only place you'll be able to find it in the UK. You're right to expect much more than just a sprinkle of tinsel on the tree, the decorations are outlandish and, quite frankly, excessive. There will be throwback ornaments, thousands of colourful fairy lights and a fireplace adorned with snug stockings. But, if we're being totally honest, it's all about the drinks here.
Jingle Balls Nog, Bad Santa and Christmopolitan are just a few of the drinks you can expect to see on the menu this year, and they're all served in, you guessed it, over-the-top, kitsch cups. Our favourite? The SanTARex served in a Santa-themed dinosaur vessel. Various snacks from Italian Supper Club will also be available, like arancini, fried chicken and other nibbles to keep you topped up between cocktails.
