In celebration of its brand-new truffles, the famed brand is setting up a pop-up chocolate vault in the heart of London.
For the first time in its 115-year history, Toblerone is breaking the unwritten commandment that all Toblerone must be of a pyramid shape. Though the triangular treats have served them well over the decades, making them a staple of last-minute airport purchases, the company is now branching out with its – gasp! – diamond-shaped truffles. Yes, a diamond is basically just a pair of pyramid shapes stapled together, but this is still a pretty significant departure from Toblerone's timeless chocolate bars.
To celebrate and promote its new offerings to the gods of chocolate, Toblerone is setting up a fun pop-up experience at 189 Piccadilly, next to Fortnum & Mason. Styled as a jewellery store, The Toblerone Diamond Truffle Vault will have you crack a code in order to break in and get to the treats. With your fingerprints smothered in melted chocolate as you gobble down the truffles, a clean getaway is all but certain.
The Toblerone Diamond Vault can be found at 189 Piccadilly from 28 to 30 September.
