If you can remember as far back as 1993, you'll know that prices then were just a little bit lower than they are in 2023. For one day only, one restaurant in Clapham is bringing back those prices. Eco, a family-run spot specialising in authentic Italian pizza, is celebrating its 30th birthday on 23rd October and they want to spread the love with some serious discounts.
For one day only diners will be able to pay the restaurant's original 1993 prices, meaning you can enjoy a quality sourdough pizza for as little as £4.50. Whilst the discounts only last for one day, the restaurant will be celebrating throughout the entire month by replacing their usual menu with the original line-up of dishes they offered when they first opened.
Diners will be able to enjoy vintage dishes including antipasti, focaccia sandwiches, baked mussels, and of course, lots of different pizzas. The specials menu will include some of the favourites from the current menu. Get down to the restaurant throughout October to enjoy a real blast from the past.
