William Morris Gallery celebrates Waltham Forest Pride Day with free storytelling session

To accompany Waltham Forest Pride 2024, storyteller Luke Saydon will be leading a journey of self-celebration and individuality at the William Morris Gallery.

Visitors will be able to enjoy an enchanting mix of music, storytelling, movement, and colours, highlighting the inspiring story of Gilbert Baker and the Pride flag. This interactive session, filled with sensory creations and movement, encourages self-love and unique expression. 

Open to all LGBTQIA+ families, friends, and allies, the event welcomes children aged 5-12 and their families. Limited spots are available, so early arrival is recommended.

Waltham Forest Pride 2024 takes place on Fellowship Square this Saturday from 3 to 8 pm. A range of stalls will provide information, activities such as hoola hoop, and food and drink, plus there will be  performances Bollyqueer dancers, the Electric Landladies, and more.
