Modern Indian restaurant Yaatra is embracing the new year by promoting well-being with a special five-course Ayurvedic dinner on the 26th of January. This unique event pays homage to the ancient Indian medicine system, Ayurveda, which draws inspiration from age-old wisdom, advocating a holistic approach to physical and mental health.

The five-course menu embodies the philosophy of Ayurveda practises by offering a meal that encompasses all six tastes – sweet, sour, salty, bitter, pungent, and astringent, paired with non-alcoholic cleansing cocktails.

Executive chef Amit Bagyal, whose childhood was spent in the Himalayan region of Uttarakhand, North India, brings a wealth of knowledge and passion for Ayurvedic cuisine. He believes in the simplicity of food, centred around the art of balancing these six tastes. Each course has been thoughtfully crafted to provide a complete sensory experience while contributing to overall well-being.

Dishes include things like Ayurvedic spiced moong fritter and shiso leaf chaat, Indian tamarind and plum sorbet, and lotus root kebab with Himalayan salt and flax seed dust.

Tickets for this Ayurvedic Dinner experience are priced at £65.00 per person, and reservations are highly recommended due to limited availability.
