You might know Norman's Café for their aesthetically-pleasing Instagram page, where stripped-back plates of food are the main focus. The café was established as a sandwich shop during the pandemic before evolving into the well-known hotspot it has become today. At first glance, it might look like your average greasy spoon, but look a little closer, and you'll realise that it's bringing a lot more than just a slap-up cooked breakfast to the streets of London.

There's a real air of nostalgia about Norman's; they serve a daily menu of childhood favourites evoking deep-rooted memories of the classic meals most of us would've enjoyed at some point throughout our childhood (if you grew up in a traditional British house that is).

Satisfy your old-fashioned cravings and pick from a menu filled with old favourites, like beans on toast with mounds of Red Leicester, sausages, chips and beans with brown sauce, chicken escalope sandwiches, buttery chip butties, kippers on toast, and more.

Inside, there's a handful of black and white tables, blackboards with the menu scrawled and a classic black and white chequered tiled floor. To some, this may sound like every other British café, but there's a real focus on high-quality ingredients and an appreciation of British food culture.
