Where to watch Wimbledon in London

All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club

Tennis mecca

If you manage to get one of the highly desirable tickets in presale, congratulations, the doors to tennis heaven are open – enter and watch all the action at the historic grounds in person. If you don't have a ticket, it's the famous Queue for you. Wimbledon is one of the few major sports events where you can buy premium tickets on the day, and for some, the Queue is as much a part of the experience as the tennis itself, with its own rules and regulations.

Wimbledon Piazza

Technically still counts

It's not quite THE Wimbledon, but it does come without a wallet-busting price tag while still being close enough to the action to get at least a taste of the atmosphere. A big screen and deckchairs are set up on Wimbledon Piazza, and refreshments are available from the various dining and drinking outlets in the neighbourhood. There's no queueing to get in, either.

Ham Yard Hotel

An ace spot for a relaxed viewing

Ham Yard Hotel's Centre Court-Yard pop-up returns for Wimbledon 2025, showing every match live on a big LED screen with wireless headphone commentary, cocktails, and classic strawberries and cream. Set on a lush, floral terrace in the heart of London, the event is held in partnership with London Essence, who've crafted a menu of limited-edition cocktails including the Port Serve Fizz and non-alcoholic Rhubarb and Custard Cup.

Group watch in Canary Wharf

In summer, Canary Wharf sets up big screens in Cabot Square and Canada Square Park, screening the season's most exciting sports events, including the Wimbledon Championships. Entry is free, and you can grab a picnic from the nearby Waitrose. Refreshments are available from The Grandstand Bar as well, and there are numerous restaurants and bars in the surrounding area.

Everyman on the Canal

Canalside championship

In summer, King's Cross carpets the steps leading from Granary Square down to Regent's Canal, turning them into a comfy open-air lounge, and collaborates with Everyman Cinemas to set up a big screen on the opposite bank. Different films are screened here throughout summer, except during Wimbledon, when the screen is reserved for live matches. Sit back, gaze across the water, and watch the Wimbledon Championship in this unique location.

St Katharine Docks

Floating on the river

For the Wimbledon Championships, Central London's only marina sets up a big screen and comfortable deckchairs on its floating pontoon. Benches and tables are available as well, so you can grab a takeaway from one of the nearby restaurants, sit back, and enjoy the action. Entry is free, and there are drinks vendors on hand as well. The covered pontoon lets you watch Wimbledon in peace even if it rains.

Wimbledon in Covent Garden

Front row at the Garden

World-famous Covent Garden Market is a popular leisure destination in its own right, but they're taking things further for Wimbledon screenings. You can sit back and watch the centre-court drama on the iconic Piazza itself, with Wimbledon-inspired dining guaranteed at the area's many eateries, including the traditional strawberries and cream. You can even snazz up at the Polo Ralph Lauren shop nearby, the tournament's official outfitter.

Dog & Fox

The Village pub

The Dog & Fox is a refined pub in the heart of Wimbledon, offering lodging within easy walking distance of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club. It gets quite busy during the Championships as it's a great spot to watch Wimbledon, in no small part due to the irresistible combination of pub hospitality, good food and drinks, pleasant outdoor spaces, and multiple screens broadcasting every stroke down the road. They also throw in fun special offers like tennis champagne brunch or live music.

Open House

Rock up to London's most famous park

Between 30 June and 10 July, the Hyde Park space that is reserved for the British Summer Time concert series will be open to the public and host all sorts of events, including screenings of Wimbledon 2025 matches. It's a great option for taking a break while sightseeing, resting your feet a bit as you catch some of the centre-court action.

Merchant Square

Tennis by the water

An upscale redevelopment in Paddington, Merchant Square is a popular destination for waterfront chilling throughout the summer. You can watch Wimbledon on a big screen in the square, with free deckchairs and plenty of space for picnic blankets. A bar will be set up as well, serving quintessentially British cocktails as well as strawberries and cream.

Eccleston Yards

Proper Wimbledon vibes in Belgravia

Belgravia's charming courtyard Eccleston Yards is hosting open-air live screenings of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships this summer. You'll be able to relax in colourful deckchairs, grab refreshments including frozen choc-covered strawberries at various pop-ups, and watch the Wimbledon action just minutes from Victoria Station.

Hammersmith Summer Festival

Wimbledon and movies

The 18th edition of the Hammersmith Summer Festival is once again taking place in Lyric Square next to Hammersmith Station. They'll be showing sports and films across six weeks, including Wimbledon, with free entry and deckchairs available as well.

The climactic finale

The popular Rooftop Cinema Club is saving its match balls for the women's and men's finals, but they're adding a little extra to them. Their Wimbledon finals watch package features popcorn and a drink, as well as the striking views of the city skyline that are a major selling point of the rooftop locations.

The Refinery Bankside

Outdoor elegance

The sleek Drake & Morgan bars across London will be showing every Wimbledon ace and serves during the tournament. Of the group's various venues, The Refinery at the Blue Fin Building in Southwark boasts one of the largest outdoor screens in the capital. You can accompany your viewing experience with The Refinery's limited-edition Wimbledon Platter and innovative summer cocktails.

Islington Square

Wimbledon in the North

From 30 June to 13 July, the Wimbledon screens are back in Islington Square. You can enjoy the tennis from comfy deck chairs or bring your own picnic blanket to relax on. There are plenty of food and drink options in the area to keep you watered and fed as you cheer your favourite players on – Megan's, Bewliehill, Selv Roastery, and The Bottle Cocktail Shop, among others.

Strawberries & Screen 2025

The final showdowns

From 11 to 13 July, Chelsea's high-end shopping destination Duke of York Square will show all of the action from the Men's Semis and the Men's and Women's Singles Finals on the green opposite the Saatchi Gallery. In addition to bookable VIP seating in the form of comfy deckchairs, the event will feature pop-up bars, as well as a Fine Food Market on Saturday. Mini tennis coaching for little ones will also be available.
