Reviews of Karen's Diner Barnet

Awful! I understand that the idea but it was just terrible, the amount of swearing even though the restaurant was full of kids, there was no banter, it was pure insults and a lot of shouting, nothing funny at all. The food was overpriced crap and service was none existent! This could have been so much fun but it was just an opportunity to be rude and insulting and yes I understand the irony in that comment but we got nothing from the experience at all, including no cutlery, napkins or sauces, one of my party literally went into the kitchen to get ketchup. We were expecting some comedic value to the evening and regular service but instead we wasted an hour of our time we will never get back again. Nothing clever or funny and I can't imagine it will last long or at least here is hoping!

Absolutely brilliant lunch at Karen’s diner. It was so much fun and the staff played their roles fabulously. My husband, dad, and I had a wonderful time and my 13 year old son has never enjoyed a family meal so much. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Beautiful food, excellent service. Got my mother there not having a clue, was a right laugh 😂 will be coming back. Many thanks to the chef

Honestly not to sound like an actual Karen but it was awful. The website suggests you shouldn’t take kids after 5pm well I would say don’t take them at all. It was foul mouthed language non stop. It wasn’t funny. The food was terrible and overpriced. We stayed 45 minutes and left. It was all kids with families and the language was not okay. I’d have loved it to be as funny as it claims to be but it really is not. Don’t waste your time
