How the points system at Thatsup works
The more active you are on the site, the more points you get. Reviews, lists and followers are just a few examples of things that will earn you points.
As you earn points your user level will rise. You may have noticed that some people’s profiles have “Expert” or “Master” on them ? That’s because they’ve collected lots of points.
While you’re collecting points you can also be rewarded with trophies -
some are easy to attain while others are harder to get.

User levels
The more points you collect, the higher user level you’ll attain. Levels include Candidate, Pro and Master ( see all here ).
Your level decides how high your reviews will be ranked and your gradings will be worth more than those of others that are on a lower level.
Collect points
How do you earn points then?
By, for example:
- Writing reviews (longer reviews = more points)
- Uploading photographs
- Receiving reactions to your posts
- Creating lists
- Gaining followers
Trophies
When you became a member you received the trophy “Thatsuper”. That’s the first of many trophies you can now start collecting.
Trophies are handed out for various reasons. It could be for reviewing ten restaurants, writing a review in the middle of the night or gaining a certain number of followers.
