A true Gothenburg classic
It doesn't get much more authentic than this. This restaurant, formerly named Köttbullekällar'n, is something of an institution and serves what may well be the largest meatballs in the city. The decor is far from trendy, but it's the meatballs, lingonberries and buttery mash you come for here, not cutting-edge interiors. In addition to this legendary dish, they also serve around three other main courses.
