The Golden Days

With specialties such as whiskey and cognac-flambeed peppar steak with potato gratin, The Golden Days serves classic cooking with elements of Swedish homecooking favourites. You'll also find a large selection of beer and whiskey, which you can explore at one of the restaurant's tastings.

The Golden Days, which opened in 1974, stocks 50 types of beer and 390 bottles of whiskey for a true taste of the UK. In addition to carefully selected drinks they serve an extensive food menu, divided up into two different sections. Choose between the restaurant's pub menu and their à la carte – both of which include British and Swedish homecooking influences. Dishes include burgers, fish and chips, steak and risotto. On Sundays you can enjoy a one, two or three course Sunday dinner and on weekdays you can come by for their daily lunch special.
