Tapas fans, it’s time to get excited – a new restaurant from the small plates masterminds behind Tapas Brindisa is about to open in Soho. Located in Beak Street, Bar Kroketa focuses on one type of tapas in particular. If you love nothing more than a crunchy croquette stuffed with flavourful ingredients and creamy sauce, this place is for you.

Written up on chalkboards, the menu of croquettes here will be constantly changing. The initial line-up includes blue cheese and crushed walnuts, sobrasada and goat’s curd with honey, and girolle mushroom and pine. Whilst croquettes are undoubtedly the star of the show here, other dishes are available to go alongside them. Daily-changing small plates like a crab and aioli toastie plus counter dishes like cheese taquitos and gildas will also be available.

Diners will be able to accompany a meal here with a selection of Spanish wines, sherries, and cider, as well as signature cocktails with a Basque spin. If your mouth is already watering you don’t have long to wait; Bar Kroketa is open on 12th December.
