A bunch of UK restaurants were awarded the prestigious AA Rosettes at a ceremony on 25 September.
At the AA Hospitality Awards, held at JW Marriott Grosvenor House on Monday, 25 September, a number of London's hospitality establishments and figures were recognised for their excellence. Several of London's restaurants also received new AA Rosette Awards, including one receiving the highest possible number, five.
The AA Rosettes are a prestigious award handed out by restaurant inspectors, and though they might now have the glitz and glam of a Michelin star, they are still regarded as a high honour that often highlights lesser-known eateries. This time around, London restaurant Muse by Tom Aikens received the highest possible number of Rosettes, five, while The Lanesborough Grill, London Stock, and Behind each received three AA Rosettes.
In addition to the Rosettes, various other accolades were handed out at the AA Hospitality Awards. Famed chef Angela Hartnett of Murano was recognised for her Outstanding Contribution, while Chutney Mary was named London Restaurant of the Year. On the accommodation front, The Lanesborough received the London Hotel of the Year Award, while Pan Pacific London took home the Accessible Award.
Congratulations to all the winners!
