Notting Hill restaurant Akub quickly made a splash on the restaurant scene when it opened in January 2023. Now it's not only delicious Palestinian cuisine that you can get your hands on at the restaurant. Akub has just launched its own shop selling wine and ceramics from Palestine, with products available to buy online and at the restaurant.

The goal of the new shop is to promote the work of Palestinian makers whose products are used in the restaurant. There's a collection of nine distinctive stoneware pieces by ceramist Nur Minawi, all crafted by hand using traditional techniques. The collection includes plates, bowls, and coffee cups.

Akub is also selling bottles of wine from its main supplier, Ashkar Winery. These wines are made with grapes grown in Palestinian vineyards, including in Upper Galilee. Wine can be ordered online or you can pick up a bottle at the restaurant to take home with you. Head to Akub's website and check out the online store to see what's available.
