Endo at the Rotunda, an intimate Michelin-starred omakase restaurant is already one of the hottest dining tips in town. Based at the former BBC Television Centre and with just 11 seats available, it's already gained a reputation for exclusive and memorable meals under the watchful eye of sushi master Endo Kazutoshi. The renowned chef has now announced plans to make the experience even more immersive.
The restaurant is set to close temporarily in the middle of March and undergo a four month-long refurbishment. The goal is to create a greater sense of intimacy and make diners feel like they are stepping into the chef's home. Designed to create a relaxing experience, the refurbishment is being overseen by renowned Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, who was also responsible for the original design of the venue. Amongst the new design features will be a hot kitchen that will allow Kazutoshi to prepare dishes in front of guests and make them feel more involved in the experience.
Whilst the refurbishment is taking place, London diners will still be able to try Kazutoshi's renowned cuisine. His much-anticipated restaurant Kioku by Endo is expected to open at The OWO towards the end of April. Endo at the Rotunda is expected to reopen in the summer once work is complete.
