Boxpark has announced the expansion of its popular shipping container markets with a new location in Camden. The buzzy market franchise has agreed to an exciting long-term property management deal with Places for London,  TfL's property arm. This launch comes off the back of their their other successful markets in ShoreditchCroydon and Wembley, as well as a planned Boxhall City food hall at Liverpool Street.

Boxpark has stated that they're planning a major refurbishment of the market, subject to planning permission from Camden Council, so I'm sure we can expect to see the brand's signature sleek black look. The current market already sees more than 30 million visitors a year and is home to 23 retailers and 23 food operators, but Boxpark has plans to increase this to over 40. Great news for local businesses.

Boxhall sites are scheduled to open in Bristol and London's Liverpool Street later this year, while another Boxpark market is also planned in Birmingham. Stay tuned for more updates.
