Marugame Udon has made a name for itself on the London foodie scene for its fragrant Asian dishes, particularly its authentic Japanese Sanuki-style Udon noodles. Menu highlights include chicken katsu curry udon, beef curry udon and more adventurous bowls like beef carbonara.
The time has come for Marugame Udon to debut their brand-new breakfast menu, and 90’s babies will be chuffed to hear that they’re celebrating with a Tamagotchi competition where you can win a year of free breakfast.
The restaurant has partnered with toy company Bandai to give away 100 special Marugame-issued Tamagotchi Original pet toys, which you’ll have to keep alive to be in with a chance of winning the breakfast prize.
If you want to get your hands on one of the toys, make sure you’re one of the first hundred people to buy a breakfast item from the Waterloo venue’s new menu on opening day, 12th January. Then, all you have to do is keep your Tamagotchi alive for one week and you’ll nab a free breakfast item. Keep it alive for 28 days, and you’ll be awarded free breakfast for a year. Sounds like a good deal to us. Find out more here.
