With living costs on the rise, top chef Tom Kerridge, the man behind Kerridge’s Bar & Grill, is launching a new set menu in response to the crisis. From 5th September, three of his restaurants, including the London-based Kerridge’s Bar & Grill will serve a two-course set lunch for £15, giving diners high quality cooking at an affordable price. The chef aims for this deal to seem 'too good to be true'.

If you’re already feeling tempted and want to know what’s on the menu, expect inspiration to come from classic British cooking, and even the school dinners you remember from your youth. According to Kerridge, diners might see hearty choices like lasagne, cottage pie or sausages and mash, followed up with old school desserts like spotted dick or jam roly poly.

Inspiration for the menu launch comes from the 2008 recession, when Kerridge launched a similar initiative. As living costs keep rising, this new menu aims to be a welcome antidote for both your tastebuds and your pocket.
