London really is the gift that keeps on giving. Having recently been named the best city in the world, five London bars have now been included in the list of the Europe’s best rooftop bars. The rankings also mean that London is home to the best rooftop bar in the whole of the UK.
Big 7 Travel has compiled a list of the top 50 rooftop bars in Europe, with Salling Rooftop and the Roofgarden in Aarhus, Denmark taking the top spot. The Culpeper was London’s highest-ranking entry, coming in at fifth place. The Rooftop at One Hundred Shoreditch was placed at number 23, Forza Wine at number 28, Frank’s Café reached number 35, and Bar Elba came in at number 38.
The only other bar in England to be included in the list was The Green Room in Leeds at number 49. One bar each in Belfast and Edinburgh also made it into the list. Although none of the London bars topped the list, there are more bars from London included than in any other city Europe-wide. It may only be February, but with all these great rooftop bars to explore you can already start making plans for the spring and summer.
