The popular London-based group, whose restaurants are a homage to the city's 17th century chophouses, is expanding to the riverside area with Blacklock Canary Wharf, its biggest venue to date.
The brand-new venue, Blacklock's fifth in the capital, is taking up residence in a warehouse beneath railway tracks on the North Dock. Across 4,000sq feet of space, it will be able to host up to 120 patrons looking to enjoy one of the group's signature lamb, beef and/or pork chops, regularly touted as a can't-miss dish among the city's carnivores. In addition, the menu will feature popular dishes from the group's other branches, as well as location-exclusive novelties. Furthermore, Blacklock Canary Wharf will introduce the group's bar snack menu with dishes such as pig's head nuggets or lamb scratchings. Fittingly, the establishment will include a 10-metre bar, as well as a terrace for al fresco dining and wining.
Blacklock Canary Wharf is slated to open in spring 2023, just in time for that spell of warm, sunny weather that's going to hit our shores aaany minute now. Right? Right? One can dream …
