Carousel, a Fitzrovia wine bar and kitchen that regularly hosts some of the world's most thrilling culinary talents, is bringing over Greek chef George Kataras for a short residency.

Among his other accolades, which include stints at prestigious restaurants in Copenhagen, London, and Athens, Kataras guided the now-defunct Vanderveen in Amsterdam to a Michelin star within two years of opening.

Currently fresh off a break in Greece refining his signature produce-driven cuisine, Kataras will be treating Carousel patrons to a seven-course meal with dishes such as 'Chickpea Waffles, Cod's Roe, Herbs' and 'Warm Brioche, Cardamom, Barbecued Figs', playing around with textures and temperatures in a funky menu.

George Kataras will be at Carousel from 5 to 9 September. Book your spot here.
