Breaking is making its Olympic debut at Paris 2024, creating a perfect opportunity to learn this dynamic dance style. Practiced globally, breaking transcends cultural barriers and unites diverse groups.

During this year's Battersea Games, a fun sports-themed festival hosted by the Battersea Power Station, Pineapple Dance Studios are offering a breaking class taught by Kwan Chan, a seasoned breaker with over 17 years of experience. The class covers basic steps and techniques, suitable for beginners, and includes learning a short dance piece. At the course's end, two participants will win a free spot in the “Introduction to Breaking” six-week course at Pineapple Dance Studios in Covent Garden.

The classes will take place from 27 July to 11 August and are suitable for all skill levels. You can find out more about the class and sign up here.
