If you're in Covent Garden over the next few weeks, you might spot an extra special sunny pop-up shop. Next Day Solar has set up a temporary shop powered entirely by solar energy. It opened on 4th September and is staying put for just four weeks.

They've set up a base to revolutionise the way Londoners think about energy and eco-conscious living and to spread the message that solar energy is readily available. Inside, you'll find shelves stacked with a range of solar-powered items and products, from laptop charging packs powered entirely by solar energy to solar bulbs, kids' toys and more. Look up, and you'll see that on top of the store, there are two large solar panels that are completely powering the shop.

Find them at 36 Neal Street, Covent Garden, WC2H 9PS, open from 10 am-6 pm, Monday to Sunday.
