Earlier this week, the annual AA Hospitality Awards returned with their first in-person ceremony in three years. Based on quality standards, the awards recognise the best hospitality establishments in the country in 26 categories, with this year’s winners including a number of London establishments.

Chef Bruce Poole’s Chez Bruce in Wandsworth was named one of the four Restaurants of the Year, while the five-star Pan Pacific was named one of the Hotels of the Year. Hélène Darroze at The Connaught received the Food Service Award, beating out Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester and the Lympstone Manor Hotel in Exmouth. The grand honour of the Lifetime Achievement Award went to John Williams MBE of The Ritz Restaurant.

Expect to see a few more of the AA’s recognisable Rosettes for culinary excellence around the capital from now on as well, as The Ledbury, Ormer Mayfair by Sofian and Social Eating House have all joined the ranks of four-Rosette eateries. Find the full list of this year's recipients here.

Congratulations to all the winners!
