The Curry Oscars have crowned their winners for 2022

The British Curry Awards, known as the ‘Curry Oscars’, have announced their national winners in collaboration with Just Eat. They celebrated the nation’s finest curry houses in their 18th annual ceremony on the 28th November.
Mayfair’s coveted Benares nabs first place for 'Best Restaurant in Central London & City' for the second year in a row. The one Michelin-starred restaurant serves an exquisite menu of fine-dining Indian dishes in a relaxed, laid-back setting.
Sri Lankan curry house Copper Ceylon in Bromley won the 'Best Restaurant London Suburbs' award, an authentic Sri-Lankan restaurant serving traditional fare and exotic cocktails to the sound of a live DJ on the weekend. Lastly, Holborn’s Colonel Saab was 2022’s best newcomer, a beautifully decorated modern Indian restaurant inspired by the travel tales of the owner’s parents.
