Victoria’s restaurant for social Italian sharing plates, Tozi, is expanding its empire. Tozi Grand Café is a new venture from the team, set to open at Battersea Power Station on 12th December. This is the third restaurant from the group – the success of the Victoria location, which opened in 2013, led to a second restaurant in Amsterdam in 2019, and now this latest opening.
Modelled on the grand cafés of Europe, the restaurant will be housed in an elegant double-height space complete with floor-to-ceiling windows, tapestries, sculptural lighting pieces, and an outdoor terrace. It’s a relaxed destination for all-day dining, with Italian-style brunch dishes like baked eggs served, as well as mains like lobster linguine.
Of course, if you want to try out the Venetian-style sharing plates that Tozi is already known for, you won’t be disappointed. A variety of antipasti, salads, and small dishes will also be on the menu – think beef carpaccio, baked scallop with ‘nduja, or pickled mushrooms and parmesan. With an elegant menu and theatrical design, Tozi Grand Café will bring a little taste of Italy to London’s newest space to eat and play.
