Shopping at a farmers' market lets you get hold of quality fresh produce, often directly from the people who grow or make it. London is home to a whole host of farmers markets where you can buy fresh fruit and veggies, meat, fish, baked goods, and much more. Two of them certainly stand out though – they've been placed in a new ranking of the top 10 farmers' markets in the whole country.

HelloFresh did the research to determine the rankings and included Blackheath Farmers' Market and Barnes Farmers' Market in positions four and eight respectively. Other markets in locations like Scotland, Cornwall, Wales, and Somerset were also listed, with the coveted top spot going to Winchester Farmer's Market.

A number of different factors were considered – how often each market takes place, how long each market is open for, the number of different traders who take part, and the online rating of each market. You might think a farmers' market is more typical of rural locations, but if you want a leading market experience, South London is clearly the place to be.
