Experience an unusual seasonal tradition on 7th January – it's London's annual Twelfth Night celebrations, taking place in Bankside. This festival welcomes in the new year and combines ancient seasonal customs with modern celebrations. It's free to attend.

At the festival you'll spot characters in costume like the Green Man from pagan myths and folklore. Visitors can also enjoy toasts/wassails, storytelling, a live play, music, and dancing. Cakes and mulled wine are also distributed as part of the experience. This one-of-a-kind seasonal celebration is interesting and fun for the whole family.
