The historic Cutty Sark in Greenwich invites families to meet colourful characters from its past roaming its deck this half-term. In addition to hearing astonishing stories about life at sea, kids can attend a junkyard ship building workshop and listen to the resident sea shanty group sing traditional maritime songs. Toddlers are also welcome – there will be special storytelling sessions just for under 5s.

Lightroom

Take a walk on the Moon

Lightroom is a state-of-the-art immersive gallery in King's Cross, designed to host spectacular artist-led shows and experiences. Their current highlight is “The Moonwalkers”, where you join Hollywood A-lister Tom Hanks on a walk on the Moon. During half-term, the experience is available at a discount for families of three and more, and new dates have been added to make sure everyone gets a chance to visit.
