London Bridge Hotel

London Bridge Hotel is located only moments from The Shard, right around the corner from the bustling Borough Market. It dates back to 1916 and used to be used as a wartime telephone exchange in the ‘40s. Nowadays, it’s home to 138 rooms, all in different sizes, decorated tastefully. In the lobby and Quarter Room, several architecturally themed artworks are up for sale, all by artists with a connection to the area, which changes every six months or so. The Quarter Bar serves an all-day menu and an afternoon tea with cocktails. But head downstairs to the Londonium restaurant for a varied menu of hearty dishes.
