No, they have not changed their focus. They have been the trend-conscious and managed to embrace the latest in culture and fashion, sure, but the elitist approach is as clear now as then. That the clientele have other clothes on today doesn't say much more than that the aesthetics are evolving. The guards still throws out people who don't fit in, people are still crowded at the rope as something cool pucko stands and points at which that looks "right" and what is "wrong", discrimination is still high on the agenda.
