After reading all the newspaper articles about how MOAS sells out in 3 hours and can't be open for a whole day, I had relatively high expectations. The fact that the owner also boasts that he has the best kebab in the world did not make things any better. Kebab lovers like me, I went there and ordered a Palermo (Lamb kebab in bread for 160 KR!) and it turned out that this would be the biggest disappointment in a very long time. There were more lumps of fat than meat in that lamb, I can say, and totally tasteless. I don't even think they had seasoned the meat. The fact that this place is a success is a big mystery to me. My own conclusion is that Stockholmers are extremely bored people and as soon as a new restaurant opens, they turn off both brains and taste buds and raise the place to the skies. Thinking of opening a place, sausage with bread for 200 KR maybe?
