Grand European-style café The Wolseley has long been a classic dining destination in Piccadilly. Soon it'll be possible to get in on the action when you're further east, with a new location set to open in the autumn in King William Street in the heart of The City.

Just like the original, classic British and European recipes will be served throughout the day, including traditional breakfasts like bubble and squeak, kedgeree, or grilled kippers. Later in the day, expect dishes like schnitzel, coq au vin, and steak tartare, plus some exclusive dishes only available at The Wolseley City.

The restaurant will have space for 260 diners and will have the same grand style as the Piccadilly restaurant – think Baroque ironwork and Byzantine chandeliers. There will be three different bars on-site as well as two spaces for private dining. The Wolseley Hospitality Group describes the new location as a more modernised version of the original. The new restaurant is set to open in the autumn. More details about the new venue are available on its website.
