The long-running British Summer Time festival series, which takes place in London's famed Hyde Park across multiple weekends each year, regularly features some of the biggest music acts in the world, and they've just announced their first headliner for 2025.
The first announced headliner to take to the BST Hyde Park stage in 2025 is the present-day incarnation of legendary British rock band Electric Light Orchestra, Jeff Lynne's ELO. Headed by one of the founding members, the band carries on the legacy of one of the most popular rock bands in the world, whose members were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017.
The BST Hyde Park show next year will actually be the final chance to see the Birmingham band in action. Jeff Lynne's ELO are currently on a global farewell tour, and they'll be playing their final show on Sunday 13 July in London. As is custom for BST Hyde Park, you can expect a slew of musically-adjacent support acts to be added to the bill in due time, adding to the historic occasion.
Presale for the show opens to BST newsletter recipients on Wednesday 23 October, followed by general sale on Friday 25 October. You can find out more about the show and book your tickets here.
