The recently refurbished Battersea Power Station has been drawing in visitors from all over the city – and further out – with its diverse array of dining, shopping and leisure facilities, not to mention the chance to wander and marvel at the cavernous interior of this iconic building. However, a month on from the renovated landmark’s official opening, the final piece of the puzzle is set to make its debut and shoot the famed structure even further up the list of London must-sees.
Lift 109 provides a unique viewing experience from atop one of the Battersea Power Station’s iconic chimneys. Starting in the Art Deco-styled Turbine Hall A, the full experience takes you through a curated exhibition about the rich history and significance of the largest brick building in Europe, including original documents and multimedia displays. Afterwards, the elevator takes you to the top of the chimney for sweeping 360-degree views of London and a unique bird’s-eye view of the power station itself, 109 meters above the ground.
One month after the official launch of the new Battersea Power Station, the Lift 109 experience is finally ready to open to visitors on 15 November 2022. You can book your tickets here.
