Following relocation, the two Michelin-starred Ikoyi, a popular West African restaurant known for its innovative approach to food, has confirmed the date of its relaunch. In anticipation of its new chapter, the restaurant is also cleaning out its closet and putting up some of its crockery for sale.

As reported previously, Ikoyi is moving to a new space at 180 The Strand, which will include a terrace and a private dining room. The restaurant was originally located at St James’s Market and if you’re fondly reminiscing about the good times at that venue, you can grab a piece of Ikoyi’s first era for yourself. From 12 to 5 pm on Saturday, 26th November, the restaurant will be selling some of its bespoke ceramic plates, designed and used by the restaurant, at the old spot. Due to the weight and fragility of the plates, you’ll have to come pick them up yourself, giving you a chance to take one last glimpse at the former location and say your goodbyes.

No need to wax overly nostalgic, however, as Ikoyi’s brand new space is nearly ready to launch. The restaurant has confirmed it will be throwing open the doors at 180 The Strand on 5th December. Bookings are open already.
